Rent the Camp!  Mt Hood Kiwanis Camp has various rental options to fit the needs of those who want to get away from it all for a break in the Mt Hood National Forest.  MHKC traditionally hosts club and church retreats, weddings and private party getaways.  Accommodations vary by group size and there are food service options as well.  Check us out!  Contact us at rentals@mhkc.org for info.

MHKC is about fifty miles east of Portland, off Highway 26 in the Mt. Hood National Forest, just minutes from Historic Government Camp. MHKC is a perfect place to hold a retreat for group size 2 to 200. Groups enjoy team building activities using our high and low ropes adventure course elements, local area hiking, cooking for themselves in our lodge kitchens or having your meals prepared by our on-site Chef.

OUR FACILITIES:

CY LODGE

Maximum occupancy for Cy Lodge is 45 people. Cy Lodge has sleeping rooms located on two levels, two restrooms/shower facilities on the main level, and a private bathroom upstairs. Cy Lodge has an impressive stone fireplace, full kitchen, couches, tables, a piano, and a flatscreen TV with a DVD player. Cy Lodge kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher, and coffee maker.
All cabins feature bunkbeds. Linens are not provided. Guests provide sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels.

FANNING HALL

Note: Separate fees apply for Fanning Dining Hall and Fanning Hall Lower Level Lodge.

FANNING DINING HALL: The main level of Fanning Hall is the camp’s dining area. This hall’s maximum capacity is 187, can comfortably accommodate 150 people with cafeteria style seating, or 100-125 at 8-person round tables. Tables and seating may also be cleared allowing for a large indoor open space.
FANNING HALL LOWER LEVEL LODGE: Maximum occupancy for Fanning bedrooms is 26 people. Fanning Hall sleeping quarters are downstairs—with 6 bedrooms sleeping from 2-8 people in bunkbeds. Within lower Fanning is a small “apartment” that sleeps up to 4 with a bathroom, kitchen, and living room area.

LAUREL LODGE

Maximum day use occupancy for Laurel Lodge is 90, with sleeping space in an adjacent facility for 45 people. Laurel has dormitory-style sleeping quarters separate from the lodge and connected by a covered porch. Laurel has a kitchen and a large living area with a foosball table and rustic stone fireplace, as well as an open loft with a pool table, making this historic venue a renter favorite. Laurel Lodge kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher, and coffee maker.
All cabins feature bunkbeds. Linens are not provided. Guests provide sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels.

JIM DOIG CABIN

The Jim Doig Cabin is our most recent addition to Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp. This cabin is a lovely two bedroom lodge with a kitchen, full bathroom, living room, and wrap-around deck overlooking the Little Zigzag River.
The cozy cabin sleeps 5 and can be rented for $255/night (two night minimum), including all towels, linens, TV, and Blu-Ray. All of the proceeds from your rental goes directly to providing life-changing Camp experiences to our campers.

CABINS & YURT

There are several small cabins available, perfect for individual private accommodations or small groups.
The Director’s Cabin: small open cabin with a bathroom and shower that sleeps up to six people.
The Cottage Cabin: small open cabin without a bathroom that sleeps up to six people.
The Yurt (available May, August-October): circular domed tent that sleeps up to ten people. Groups use the nearby bathroom at the pool house.
