Legacy 90 Capital Campaign

MHKC Legacy 90 — A Capital Campaign for Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, Since 1933

MHKC Legacy 90

2026 Capital Campaign Drive

Thanks to generous donors, we have reached the final phase of our Legacy 90 Capital Campaign. Within a year, construction of the new Hemlock dorm will be complete. 2026 campaign donations will support completion of the new dorm, including accessible bunkbeds in all rooms. Additionally, new contributions will allow us to establish an ongoing Legacy 90 Fund for continuing camp improvements. All donations of $200 or more will be permanently recognized at the planned new MHKC Fire Circle and Donor Wall to be located just outside the new dorm.

Campaign Vision

  • Eliminate the wait list for camp.
  • Better opportunities for social connection among campers and counselors.
  • Greater satisfaction for campers and counselors.
  • All facilities at MHKC promote a feeling of dignity, comfort and belonging.

For Oregonians, going to “the mountain” is a widely shared and treasured experience. Our overarching goal is to “Open the Mountain” for everyone to have that opportunity, even those who have faced the highest barriers based on disability.

Legacy 90 Fire Circle

Contributors of $200 up to $5,000 will be recognized with pavers surrounding the beautiful new Legacy 90 Fire Circle. Located just outside the new Hemlock dorm and next to the historic Laurel Lodge, the Fire Circle will embody the spirit of MHKC. Campers, staff and volunteers will gather at the Fire Circle to sing, tell stories and celebrate friendships, old and new.

Your 2026 commitment will be added to any prior Legacy 90 campaign contribution to determine how your campaign support will be recognized. Pavers may also be dedicated in honor or in memory of a loved one.
