he Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp Foundation was formed in 1989 for the sole purpose of providing operational support to Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp. The MHKC Foundation secures private philanthropic gifts that ensure the camp will be here to create life-changing opportunities for future generations of campers.

Let the MHKC Foundation help secure your legacy. Whether your gift is small or large, in the moment or a thoughtful bequest, the MHKC Foundation ensures that your philanthropic support of our camp will continue in perpetuity, just like the camp itself.

By preserving its invested principal, the MHKC Foundation provides financial support from its investment earnings. Community support and philanthropic gifts allow the fund to grow over time, increasing its ability to support the camp. The long-term objective is to provide a significant portion of the camp’s annual operating budget, thus securing the legacy of each Foundation donor.

Gifts to the MHKC Foundation can take many forms:

  • Cash
  • Stocks & Bonds
  • Wills & Bequests
  • Charitable Trusts
  • IRAs or Retirement Plans
  • Life Insurance
  • Corporate Matching Gifts

A gift to the MHKC Foundation is the most effective way to create a lasting legacy at our Camp. If you or your family is interested in joining the dozens of local families that have made a planned gift to our Foundation, please let us know. We would be honored to talk with you about your goals and help you to ensure that the Camp we love is here to serve children and adults with disabilities in perpetuity.
