MHKC LEGACY 90 CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
Thanks to all of our Summer 2025 Community Drive contributors. We more than matched the $150,000 challenge from Gary and Linda Pope and reached the target for replacing the old Hemlock dorm with a new, larger, and more accommodating 90-bed dorm!
LEGACY 90 VISION
- Eliminate the wait list for camp.
- Better opportunities for social connection among campers and counselors.
- Greater satisfaction for campers and counselors.
- All facilities at MHKC promote a feeling of dignity, comfort and belonging.
A new dorm will increase MHKC’s current camper capacity by 50% and add enhanced accessibility features needed to give campers with developmental and physical disabilities an optimal camp experience.
For Oregonians, going to “the mountain” is a widely shared and treasured experience. Our overarching goal is to “Open the Mountain” for everyone to have that opportunity, even those who have faced the highest barriers based on disability.
OPTIONS FOR CAMPAIGN DONATIONS AND PLEDGES
All campaign contributors of $200 or more will be permanently recognized on the Legacy 90 donor tribute wall surrounding the fire circle outside the new dorm.
You can extend your impact with a monthly or annual pledge!
However it adds up, your generous support will have a transformational impact on generations of campers at MHKC.
