Layla K. McLean Elected to Board of Directors of Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp

Layla K. McLean has been elected to the Board of Directors of Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp.

Layla first learned about MHKC when she served as a counselor there when she was a college student.  She characterizes it as a transformative life experience and led her to be an enthusiastic and generous supporter of Camp ever since.

Professionally, Layla is an attorney and shareholder at Buckley Law in Lake Oswego where she focuses on estate planning and administration for taxable and non-taxable estates, business law and real estate transactions. She also has extensive experience working on special needs trusts.

She actively participates in the Oregon Asian Pacific American Bar Association and is a member of the Oregon Women Lawyers Association Mary Leonard Chapter, the Willamette Valley Estate Planning Council, the Clackamas County, Multnomah County and Marion County Bar Associations, and the Pitch, a women’s only networking group that focuses on volunteering opportunities with various philanthropic non-profits.

Born and raised on Oahu, Hawaii, Layla is a resident of Lake Oswego and is a graduate of Portland State University and the Willamette University College of Law.
