Message from the Executive Director

And we’re off! Summer camp is underway!

Despite a soggy start, Family Camp was once again a hit!  Braving the elements, returning families along with new campers joined the fun on the Adventure Course, in the heated pool, and in all camp activities.

A special shout-out here to MHKC’s staff!  Their individual and collective commitment to making camp a special and unforgettable experience for campers and families is inspiring.  It is with much gratitude that we acknowledge their efforts this summer!

MHKC will serve nearly triple the number campers this year compared to 2021, yet there are still many folks who would like to attend but can’t for lack of capacity.  We remain focused on expanding capacity and are deeply grateful to those who support that effort.  Thank you!

And speaking of supporting MHKC’s mission, join us for the annual “Walk, Roll or Stroll” on September 11th at Oaks Park.  It’s a fun community-building event and a way for campers, families, counselors and staff to reunite after summer camp!  Find info on how to participate at www.mhkc.org/events.

Here’s to your good health and have a great summer!!
