Message from the Executive Director

With the start of the new year, we officially begin our summer camp countdown!

In January, we opened summer camp registration and started enrolling campers for the summer camp 2024 season. If you’re interested in attending this summer, there’s still a few spots available! To submit an application, visit https://mhkc.org/summer-camp-2024/ to learn more.

In between planning and prepping for this summer, our programs team is also working hard on recruiting counselors and staff to be part of the MHKC team. If you or someone you know is interested in helping to create magical memories on Mt. Hood, we encourage to you apply or help spread the word.

This winter, campers had a blast enjoying the snow at both our January and February Winter Retreats.  While spending a long weekend at Camp, campers enjoyed snowshoeing, having snowball fights, cooking a homemade dinner, singing at karaoke, constructing Graham cracker structures, building and decorating bird houses and decoupaging individual jars! This beloved program continues to be a camper favorite!

Lastly, MHKC gains additional financial support through the camp’s facilities rental program.  Large groups, and small, rent our facilities when our camps are not in session for organized group retreats, or just a chill few days on the mountain.  Learn all about it and check out the new Doig Cabin “Stay & Play Fall Special” by clicking on the “Rentals” tab at https://mhkc.org/rental-specials.

Looking forward to seeing you on the mountain this summer!
